Housed in a neoclassical villa surrounded by gardens, with stylish rooms, the gallery displays works of the Neoclassical and Romantici periods until the Scapigliatura and Realism. The three collections “Vismara,” “Marino Marini” and “Grassi” feature sculptures by Canova, paintings by Hayez, Segantini, Previati, Morandi, Balla and Boccioni.

One of the most famous masterpieces in the world, designed by Leonardo da Vinci on the wall of the refectory of the Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Born from the transformation of the Arengario Palace, it is a project that combines tradition and modernity. The museum covers an area of 8200 square meters, of which over four thousand dedicated to the exhibition space. One section is devoted to the international avant-garde paintings by Picasso, Braque, Kandinsky and Modigliani, to name a few.

Oldest museum in Milan, it opened in 1618 with the donation of Cardinal Federico Borromeo, and then enriched with other legacies. Armani/Silos is an exhibition space born to celebrate the Giorgio Armani’s 40 years in fashion. The museum was designed by the architect Tadao Ando inside a building built in 1950, completely renovated.
The collection, displayed on 4 floors, includes 600 garments and 200 accessories by Armani from 1980 to today.

The house museum of Alessandro Manzoni preserves the rooms where were born literary masterpieces like “I Promessi Sposi” (“The Betrothed”) and memorable poems as “Il Cinque Maggio”. Here there are portraits, prints and memorabilia that recall the great importance of this historic house.
The house of Manzoni has been carefully restored and reopened to the public at October 6th, 2015.

The Gallerie d’Italia host the prestigious collections of Italian masterpieces from the XVIII, XIX and XX century, subdivided into 13 sections and 23 rooms. Galleries are located in Palazzo Anguissola Antona Traversi, Palazzo Brentani and in the premises of Banca Commerciale Italiana.

MUDEC – the Museum of Cultures is an interdisciplinary center dedicated to the various testimonies and cultures of the world which, with its interdisciplinary approach, aims to become the main Italian point of reference for research, promotion and the edutainment of creativity and art.
The museum is recuperated from the site of the former Ansaldo manufacturing works, in Tortona district and boasts square-shaped forms coated with zinc and with a glass structure – illuminated 24/7 – that is a part of the building that hosts it.

Imagine a dwelling of XIX century furnished such as a noble abode of XVI century.
This is the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, one of the best-preserved house museums in Europe.

The National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci is the largest science and technology museum in Italy and is located very close to Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio.
Inside there is a gallery entirely dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci, with models and drawings of the Florentine genius’s machinery. Furthermore, among other attractions, there is the first submarine to be built in Italy after World War II.
